SolarWinds is looking to add an enthusiastic, professional and goal-oriented Senior Recruiting Manager to guide the efforts of our engineering recruiting team across EMEA.  The right individual will both recruit for senior leadership requisitions and lead a team of recruiters supporting R&D & Product Marketing. We desire a creative self-starter in the driver's seat to identify exceptional candidates!  


Working in a fast paced engineering environment, the role of this Senior Recruiting Manager will be to partner with divisional & site leaders to create and maintain an overview of hiring needs that stay on monthly & quarterly targets.  At the same time, you will be providing day to day guidance to the engineering Talent Acquisition Team across Europe (UK, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, Belarus & Romania).  


As a Senior Recruiting Manager, you will be responsible for:


  • Building a continuous candidate pipeline and creating leads through various sourcing methods including but not limited to: cold calling, internet search, job boards, networking, social media (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), external referrals, employee referrals, career fairs, professional associations/organizations, college alumni/associations, applicant tracking system, diversity sourcing, etc.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a team of recruiters to delivery an amazing experience for candidates & hiring managers
  • Craft a comprehensive recruitment strategy for all R&D areas (Core, MSP & Cloud) and geographies.
  • Utilize data and metrics to ensure that you understand the health of your recruiting team performance while ensuring that the needs of the business are met on time & within budget.
  • Act as an advocate and evangelist for SolarWinds by promoting the company at events and on social media. You’ll lead recruiting events to attract passive candidates and build company brand presence in our target markets.
  • Handle our external relationships with European job boards & agencies.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and help them develop “ideal candidate” profiles.
  • Help the recruitment team build and maintain a pipeline that will meet the current & future hiring needs of the teams they support.
  • Manage the hiring process from sourcing to the offer accept.
  • Documenting all communication in the Applicant Tracking System.


  • Significant experience leading talent acquisition teams while also worked as a front line recruiter in a fast-growing team oriented environment.
  • Experience with best practices utilized to contend for top talent in competitive technology environments.
  • Strong expertise using social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) for sourcing hard to fill positions.
  • Prior experience recruiting for a software (SaaS, PaaS, Cloud) or technology company.
  • Experience implementing successful recruiting processes across multiple countries.
  • Experience running European recruitment teams and being a collaborative leader. You have demonstrated experience mentoring and developing a team, leading through vision and values.
  • Demonstrated expertise in establishing a social media presence for a company, and successfully using social media to source top talent.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work in an environment with competing demands.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills; along with significant influence/negotiating skills.
  • Able to think strategically but operate tactically.
  • Strong relationship building experience.
  • In-depth experience with applicant tracking systems (we use iCIMS).
