  • Overview

    Responsible to improve efficiencies, document processes, and work on special projects as needed.  System responsibilities include data analysis, review on process design and workflow, implementation support for new functionality, testing and process improvements (enhancement support) to leverage the return on technological capabilities. 


    Responsible to build project plans, ensure adherence to project schedules, maintain a systems and efficiency orientation and work effectively with peers.  Serves as a Tier 1 for the team and assist Subject Matter Experts on data integrity, report writing, data presentation and analysis, dashboard preparation, organizational hierarchy and functional process improvement opportunities.


    Also partners with Lead Analyst, HR Technology to ensure successful system upgrades, patches, testing, and compliances within the HR application portfolio.


    Provides assistance in HRIS maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades, releases or patches.

    Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools in multiple systems.  Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing business needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

    Continuously strives to improve process inefficiencies, identifies opportunities to eradicate manual processes and transactions with automation, and works on special projects to support HR Operations, Compensation, Benefits and Learning & Development.

    Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.  Maintains all system tables.  Documents process and results. Maintains system security roles to support business needs.

    Provides functional support, including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

    Works with the Compensation and Benefits Team to ensure system set-up aligns with the compensation and benefits business requirements.

    Supports overall technology initiatives for the HR functions.

    Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains on new processes/functionality/new system users.

    Maintains awareness of current trends in HRIS with focus on service delivery and support, value, enterprise applicability and applying key technologies.  Examines trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques.  Participates in user group meetings/conference.


    Minimum of 10 years experience working with HR.

    Minimum of 5 years experience with HRIS.

    Minimum of 3 years experience with MS Excel.

    Strong understanding of HR processes and data.

    Working knowledge of automated and integrated human resource information systems.

    Experience in information systems applications, designs and computer platforms (i.e. relational databases, report writing, word-processing, spreadsheets, presentation applications, etc.).

    Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.

    Hands-on configuration experience in Human Capital Management modules.

    Strong analytical and listening skills required to understand, review, analyze and recommend changes to existing processes.

    Ability to understand complex processes and simplify/streamline processes.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required to ensure data integrity, manage multiple and competing deadlines and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and guidelines.

    Ability to think creatively to resolve challenges and develop solutions.

    Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and develop working relationships with HR staff, staff from other SolarWinds divisions as well as vendors.

    Ability to lead and develop effective training and evaluation sessions for all levels of users
