    • Design, implement, optimize and test new features or application components
    • Maintain strong ownership on product quality, supportability and development practices
    • Actively contribute to code reviews and automated testing
    • Participating in Agile planning sessions, retrospectives & stakeholder demos
    • Being self-driven, while helping the team meet sprint goals and overall project delivery milestones


    • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
    • 5+ years of experience designing and developing commercial software
    • Strong command of server-side Java development and debugging
    • Strong HTML, JavaScript and JSP/Servlet knowledge
    • Understanding of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
    • Knowledge of web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP)
    • Excellent problem-solving skills; can triage and resolve critical issues throughout the stack


    Nice to Haves:

    • Agile development experience
    • Experience with TDD, CI/CD practices and Jenkins build configuration management
    • Working knowledge of with Linux environments and networking protocols (TCP, HTTP(S), SNMP)
    • Knowledge of Web 2.0, Dojo and AJAX framework
    • Experience with source control/build concepts and tools (Git, Perforce or Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Jenkins)
    • Familiarity with J2EE and the Jakarta STRUTS 2 frameworks
    • Knowledge of LESS CSS
