    Responsibilities

     

    • Achieve sales and retention targets within assigned territory
    • Actively working with Solarwinds MSP partners for standardization of their backup solutions
    • Follow up on leads and opportunities daily within our existing customer base
    • Regular reporting to management on activities, territory initiatives, and pipeline
    • Regular communication with all customers in assigned territory, and facilitating issue resolution of all issues uncovered
    • Engage in technical sales discussions with potential clients via conference call or web demonstration; leveraging Sales Engineering resources where needed. 

    Qualifications

    • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills, in person and through WebEx
    • Must display self-discipline necessary to interface effectively with customers, management, and all levels of employees
    • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to a variety of customer situations and work independently
    • Ability to innovate and create new solutions and material
    • Basic understanding of territory management (planning, prospecting, and closing) preferred
    • Experience in software as a service (SaaS) strongly preferred
