  • Overview

    The National Government Account Executive (NGAE) is responsible for creating/developing new sales opportunities within National Governments of EU countries; while at the same time ensuring a satisfied customer base which allows us to build a sustainable business for future success in the territory.

     

    Responsibilities

    The NGAE has responsibility for:
    • Achieving sales targets for SolarWinds products, solutions and initiatives within specific time frames across the installed customer base and new customer opportunities
    • Using Salesforce.com as a productivity tool to provide timely and accuarate forecasts to management
    • Attending regional trade shows and conferences promoting Solarwinds to the National Government segment
    • Develop strategic relationships with European Systems Integrators that focus on National (Central) Governement accounts
    • Work closely with channel partners and enable their business to deliver incremental National Government bookings
    • Working closely with other cross-functional management teams in the marketing and product groups

    Qualifications

     

    • Strong background in sales
    • Direct software sales experience a must
    • National Government (UK Ministrys, MoD, EU Central Governments) sales experience a must
    • Must be incredibly self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently; strong internal and external communication skills
    • Ability to understand sales numbers and manage to daily sales metrics
    • Ability to make adjustments to maintain deal velocity and momentum
    • Ability to understand and communicate business concepts
    • Ability to adapt to changing business issues and requirements and be creative in suggesting new approaches
    • Knowledge and experience with networking technologies
    • Experience in a quota carrying sales role with demonstrated achievement selling to National Governments
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
    • Experience with Systems Integrators
    • Understanding of Governement procurement cycles
