  • Support with technical qualification of opportunities
  • Provide a single point of technical accountability for the pre sale activity undertaken
  • To articulate both through professionally written submissions and orally delivered presentations the product capabilities, technologies and solutions to both technical and non-technical customers in order to communicate the associated features and business benefits
  • To maintain a high degree of technical knowledge across the SolarWinds MSP portfolio of products and technologies and technical market trends, spanning multiple vendors to support the advancement of our technology
  • Contributes to the sales team effort by delivering technical presentations and product demos
  • Identifies sales requirements and analyse the client’s problems and create a vision of how to apply SolarWinds MSP products to solve them
  • Ability and experience to enter into RFX process completion for larger business opportunities
  • Quickly and effectively craft highly compelling solution-oriented presentations/web- demos custom designed for each customer’s unique needs and focus
  • Hold customer webinars on new features and training for existing customers
  • Deploy and implement the solution and provide ongoing client support to establish adoption within the account
  • Maintain an expert knowledge of the products within the portfolio, consistently updating and retaining product knowledge to support the sale of solutions
  • Be the technical contact throughout the sales cycle
  • Be able to operate software in a test environment
  • Ability to strategically influence and provide best in class customer advice becoming a trusted technical advisor
  • To assist in the development of an account strategy and contact plan for those target accounts aimed at raising the awareness of SolarWinds MSP’s value proposition and developing opportunities across our broad range of product offerings


  • It would be advantageous to hold a Computer Science or related degree
  • Experience within an IT support business
  • Experience in technical pre-sales is a must
  • Previous experience of creating and delivering employee training
  • Knowledge of SolarWinds MSP products and solutions is an advantage
  • Must be a highly confident communicator
  • Ability to quickly form and maintain close working relationships with internal and external staff
  • Good written communication style
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Native Italian and good English communication skills are mandatory
