We are looking for a talented & competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment for an Inside Sales role. What does a Solarwinds Inside Sales Representative do you may ask? 

 

The Inside Sales Rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable & willing to make dozens of calls per day, working directly with customers who have shown an interest in a Solarwinds product (or multiple products) and when not directly, then working via channel partners who have identified potential end-user projects for fulfillment

 

You must be able review these opportunities quickly, call back, generate interest, qualify prospects and then close sales

Responsibilities

Include:

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through Inbound Lead follow-up's, up-selling & cross-selling Solarwinds software products via pro-active calls & emails into the ANZ market
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Ensuring qualified opportunities are closed either over the phone directly at the point of contact or within 30 days if requiring further qualification (technical or financial)

  

 

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups, cross-sell & up-sell wherever & whenever possible; primarily over the phone as well as via emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Manage, Forecast & Close Qualified Opportunities assigned to you every day from a 'Lead Bucket' via Salesforce.com and in a diligent, articulate & professional manner
  • Build a robust, reliable Pipeline, close sales and achieve Daily, Weekly & Quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players within assigned accounts and generate appropriate interest for quick sales and for further account business development
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with ANZ Channel Partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects

Qualifications

Proven Inside Sales experience (preferably 3-5 years)

  • Track record of over-achieving Quota
  • Strong phone presence & experience dialling dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity & Web presentation tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent 3-5 years 

 

2-3 years prior experience in an Inside Sales Role (in software industry if possible)

  • Self-starter with the flexibility to lead, manage or contribute to changing market and sales needs with tactics that respond well to end-user or partner needs
  • Excellent planning, organization & communication skills, able to build good end-user customer relationships and a strong partner focus in driving sales through various channels
  • Successful track record of exceeding bookings and quota
  • Experience in the  South-East Asia market preferred
