Product Migration Specialist


The Product Migration Specialist will join our existing Technical Support On-Boarding Team and provide outstanding technical support of SolarWinds MSP Email Spam Protection Software Products to our Partners. The Product Migration Specialist will be responsible for migrating our existing partner base from our current SolarWinds MSP Email Spam Protection Software solution to a newly aquired solution. This includes but is not limited to migrating our partners to the new SolarWinds MSP Email Spam Protection Software solution in addition to bringing the partner up to speed on the features and best practices of the new SolarWinds MSP Email Spam Protection Software. The Product Migration Specialist needs to be very thorough, organized, and be able to manage time effectively in our challenging environment. Strong communication skills, network and application troubleshooting, systems administration experience, and the ability to work with Partners and prioritize time are must have skills.


The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked with Advanced Email Spam Protection Products, strong networking knowledge, exceptional communication skills (written and oral), strong drive & focus, excellent prioritization skills, attention to detail, very reliable and a strong sense of responsibility.


  • Contact existing SolarWinds MSP Email Spam Protection Partners and schedule the migration activity based on their availability.
  • Work closely with SolarWinds MSP Partners in order to migrate them from our existing SolarWinds MSP Email Spam Protection solution to a newly aquired Email Spam Protection solution.
  • Answer 'How-To' and Configuration questions regarding all aspects of the SolarWinds Email Spam Protection Solution
  • Document Partner Issues and Resolutions - KB Articles
  • Triage Support Incidents and Escalate to third line as requried
  • Be able to prioritize product migrations while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Create Internal Documentation as required
  • Deliver Product Training to both SolarWinds Partners and Internal Technical Support Staff
  • Deliver Product Training and Product Demonstrations to SolarWinds Partners over a WebEx session


  • 2+ years Hands-On IT experience
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills (english)
  • Ability to Manage Time Effectively
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Exceptional Troubleshooting Skills
  • Strong Networking Knowledge (subnets, firewalls, ports, switches, routing and TCP/IP)
  • Major Industry Certification (MCSE, MCSA, MCSD, MCP, CCNA, etc.) an asset
  • Strong Presentation Skills
  • Familiarity of Advanced Email Spam Protection products and the ability to come up to speed on new products quickly
