As a member of the SolarWinds MSP Sales team, you will be responsible for building new business and increasing revenue stream through selling SolarWinds MSP products and services to target clients while ensuring that our client base remains satisfied thereby retaining and growing business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets for SolarWinds MSP products, solutions and initiatives within specific time frames across the installed customer base and new strategic customer opportunities
  • Use Salesforce.com as a productivity tool and championing its use within the Sales Organization
  • Provide timely and accurate business forecasts to sales and executive management
  • Manage direct and channel partner business transactions
  • Work closely with other cross-functional management teams in the marketing and product groups   

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three - four years of successful solution selling experience
  • Minimum two years’ technical sales experience
  • Dynamic, self-motivated individual with a high-energy level and strength in driving new sales
  • Consistent sales performance in meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Must display self-discipline necessary to interface effectively with customers, management, and all levels of employees
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize customers' issues while utilizing time management efficiently
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills
  • Comprehension of the value of: building long term relationships; constant prospecting; multi-level selling; and applying client centered selling techniques
  • Aggressive, eager and willing to give 150% of their energy and time
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment

  • Must be incredibly self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a sales team by example
  • Ability to understand sales numbers and manage to daily sales metrics
  • Ability to make adjustments to maintain deal velocity and momentum

  • Ability to understand and communicate business concepts
